“...emotional and ethereal; I was drawn in right away...”
— Shelby Mang, Listener
with April Faith-slaker and adrian avalos
Wild Hum is an unassuming Americana-Soul trio that weilds the shocking power to turn any venue into a chiseled memory in the mind of the listener. Birthed in Cambridge, MA in August 2018, the original band is an impassioned melding of eccentric singer-songwriter Hannah Rooth, avant-garde cellist April Faith-Slaker, and endearing guitarist Adrian Avalos. Together they embarked on an intimate, powerful Autumn tour of Cambridge, MA and an expansive campaign to crowdfund an album. With the support of nearly two hundred listeners and Producer Mike Davidson of Plaid Dog Studio, Hannah and Wild Hum release their debut album in Summer of 2019. On the heels of this successful launch, Hannah has relocated to Los Angeles and is currently working with two top-tier producers, including Grammy Nominee Christian Davis. Wild Hum is touring the Southwest and Northwest U.S. in the months ahead.
