The Red Pants’ debut single Starlight Arboretum (The Way I Feel) fuses powerful vocals and groovy, experimental electronic production. Featuring Americana-soul singer Hannah Rooth and electronic producer Eric Schwartz, The Red Pants hope to bring out the best of modern electronic music by integrating elements of rock, funk, and jazz to create a fun and eclectic sound.

Songwriter and producer Eric says, “The song was supposed to be about a bar in space called the Starlight Arboretum where people and aliens get together and have great space parties. That was too cliché, so only the first line is about that. You can interpret the rest of the song however you want, which fits with the general out-there-ness of the track.”

Vocalist Hannah says, “This was a really fun song to bring to life during quarantine. It helps me imagine just being away from all the world’s problems with a hundred of my best friends… I hope it brings that to life for everyone who’s listening and lonely right now.”
